How to get the most out of Six Flags
Watch out! DO NOT wear this
No backpacks, bags or things to carry They won’t let you on the rides and will force you to rent a locker! A vile and evil system that steals your money because there is only one place where you can rent lockers all day long. The rest of the locker locations charge you 20 pesos per hour and a maximum of 3 continuous hours, if you go over your time, you will be in trouble and pay a penalty!
No cameras, no Gopros, no in-game recordings, no selfie sticks. Save yourself problems.
When to attend Six Flags CDMX?
The best days to attend are in low season and Monday-Thursday; on Fridays, weekends and vacations you are more likely to be at an amusement park where there will be long lines.
If you’ve never been to the park before, you’ll want to start from the back to the front.
How to avoid queues?
You can arrive very early at the amusement park to head to the 3 rides you most want to experience and avoid long lines.
There are special tickets called Flash Pass that you can buy at the souvenir stores; they allow you to skip the line for 3 games so I recommend you use them wisely and for the games that have the longest lines.
You can also find the VIP experience that allows you to skip lines and costs 650 pesos for children under 1.20 mts. and 950 pesos for children over 1.20 mts. in addition to the entrance fee. This bracelet basically allows you to skip rows in the games and that is why it is so expensive.
Other Tips
Blocker is better than cap, you don’t want to be worrying about the cap flying off at any moment.
If you don’t want to get wet, avoid the water rides, you can lose a lot of time drying off or changing clothes and they won’t let you go on the rides wet.
